In Memorium

Rabbits make a profound impact in the lives of people who have taken the time to appreciate them. We have learned & enjoyed the idiosyncrasies of their individual personalities and behavior, enjoyed their unconditional love, and as an extension, have learned to appreciate all living creatures.

We feel a deep loss when they depart. Could we have delayed the end? Could we have appreciated them more? Did we ease their suffering as much as we could? What do we do with our time now that they are not here to watch and play with us.? Rabbits are physically fragile animals but often have remarkable resilience and always have dauntless spirits. With the following pages we hope to share the joy and sense of discovery we have exprienced living with these unique individuals who until recently were considered only as livestock or even pests.
