Special Needs Rabbits

The Sacramento House Rabbit Society is proud to present a new program to highlight special needs rabbits who are available for adoption. Many of these rabbits have suffered heartbreaking situations, yet have blossomed under the care of SHRS foster parents into loving, friendly rabbits who deserve happier chapters in their lives.

To adopt a special needs rabbit we recommend that you have experience caring for rabbits, and are willing to learn about the unique medical needs these rabbits require. You also need to be aware that higher veterinarian bills are very likely with these rabbits and that you will be responsible for the cost.
