Rabbits at PetSmart stores have been altered and are litterbox trained. They are friendly and enjoy people but have not lived with a foster family as House Rabbit Society fosters have. They are being cared for by experienced & knowledgable volunteers. For Information on adopting one of these rabbits call 916-941-1963 and leave a message.

The next PetSmart adoption day will be August 21 from 11 to 3 at the Rancho Cordova store off Zinfandel drive. All Petsmart rabbits will be there, including rabbits from the Folsom store

Other county shelter rabbits may not have been altered (spayed or neutered), litterbox trained, or socialized as House Rabbit Society fosters have been. Please contact animal control for their availability and adoption details. Other rabbits may be available and this is only a sample.

Other Sacramento County Animal Shelter small animals such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, & others need homes too. You can view them here if you are intersted.
