Rabbits Available for Adoption
Adoption
and Information Clinics
Come and meet our
fabulous foster rabbits! All rabbits are spayed/neutered
(age permitting) and litterbox trained. Adoption fee is $50 per
rabbit and includes a copy of The House Rabbit Handbook.
Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to
adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion
rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible
to meet one of our fosters. HRS volunteers will be happy
to help your bunny through that feisty first date. All bunny
parents are welcome to stop by for lively conversation, problem-solving
and free information!
Our adoption and information clinics take
place on the second Saturday of each month between 10:00 am and
3:00 pm at the following dates and locations:
| February 13 |
Citrus Heights Petco, 6067 Greenback Lane, 916/725-2556 |
| March 13 |
Arden Petco, 1878 Arden Way, 916/ 923-1082 |

Rhett Bunnler is an active young male.
He loves to dig and has been having fun digging and shredding
last years yellow pages. He likes to be held and petted, but
only after he has had a chance to race around and get his exercise |
Willow and Mickey came together in their
foster home and became a happy bonded pair that needs to be adopted
together into a household with folks who will enjoy watching
their antics and having them as company. Mickey is the champion
jumper of the pair and has beautiful blue eyes. Willow is hiding
under that soft, fluffy coat!

Our names (left to right) are Mimi, Rosie,
Smudge, Pudge, Oscar, Napoleon, and Peanut. Five girls and two
boys. We were rescued from the same location and have grown up
as a family (or herd in rabbit language:) Oscar is our fearless
leader and Mimi likes to act like a mom to all of us. We are
bounding teenagers about 9 months old. All of us are spayed and
neutered. Our foster mom said it would be most unlikely we would
all find a forever home together.....but that we could be adopted
as pairs or more to very special homes. Thank goodness we all
get along and take care of each other! |
